1. Overview & Core Philosophy

SynapTrace Labs Inc. ("SynapTrace", "we", "us") provides developer observability, telemetry ingestion, and runtime guardrails for artificial intelligence systems. We are engineered around a strict principle: your customer data belongs to you.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two categories:

• Account & Inquiries Information: When you request alpha access or submit contact inquiries, we collect your name, email address, company or role, and any notes you provide.
• Telemetry & Trace Metadata: Through our SDKs, we ingest telemetry data including span execution timestamps, latency metrics, token consumption counts, tool names, error statuses, and assertion results.

3. Zero-Payload Retention Option

For regulated industries (including healthcare, finance, and enterprise legal applications), SynapTrace offers a Metadata-Only mode. Under this setting, prompt contents and model responses are scrubbed or hashed client-side before transmission. In this mode, raw prompt inputs and completions are never transmitted to or stored on SynapTrace servers.

4. No Sale or Model Training on Customer Data

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your trace data, prompt inputs, or system architectures to train general-purpose foundation models.

5. Data Security

All telemetry transmissions are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3. Where payloads are stored (during Full Trace mode upon customer configuration), data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
